Ocean ecstatic is a sensuous odyssey about human beings in water. The performance takes place in Yrjönkadun uimahalli and is an ode to mundane swimming, to the stormy sea at night and to idle enjoyment in a deckchair placed by the pool.
Water is a wild, dangerous, and unstoppable force of nature, which wet embrace humans still long for and try to capture in a swimming pool. Ocean ecstatic flows between bursting desire and crystal-clear serenity and attempts to solve the mystery behind the attractive force of water.
