Kohta is a privately initiated kunsthalle, founded in 2017 by Finnish artists Martti Aiha, Thomas Nyqvist, Nina Roos and Magdalena Åberg and directed by Swedish curator Anders Kreuger. It shows uncompromising artists of all active generations from all over the world.
Until 22 June ‘Shallow Springs’, co-curated by Kreuger and Helsinki-based artists Jaakko Pallasvuo and Miša Skalskis, showcases 12 emergent and established artists from Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
From 10 August Kohta shows new works by Martti Aiha.
