Open guided tour in Swedish – Vallisaari Island

Open guided tour is an introduction to Helsinki Biennial and ways of experiencing it in Vallisaari Island.  The guide will introduce you to the theme and share fascinating stories about the artists. On this tour, you will walk a shorter route of the island and explore the artworks near the piers of arrival and departure. The tour ends to the beginning of a long route around the island.  After the tour, you are welcome to explore rest of the island and the artworks on your own.

• Open guided tours are organised once a month.
• The guided tour is free. No advance registration.
• Duration 45-60 minutes.
• The guided tour starts from the Vallisaari entry pier. You will recognise our guides by their black-and-white Helsinki Biennial clothes and guide pins.
• Please note that the terrain is rough and hilly in places.
• Open guided tours are not for groups. Groups can book a private tour here.
