The above prices also apply to daycare centre groups.
Reservation period: Reservations for places on departures for school groups can be made between 17 May and 11 June 2021. After this reservation period, it is possible to ask about any free places on the departures for school groups. Schools can also reserve places on the waterbuses operating the regular service.
Waterbus reservations: Reserve places on the waterbus for your group in advance. When you make a reservation, you are making the reservation for both the outward and the return journeys. We recommend that schools make reservation enquiries for all groups from their school at the same time, even if the groups will be visiting Vallisaari on different days. This will help you save on invoicing expenses as all the reservations for your school will be included on one invoice.
Please email your reservation enquiries to info@jt-line.fi. Your reservation will be valid after JT-Line has confirmed the reservation.
Invoicing: Once you have received confirmation of your reservation, please send JT-Line a BOSTI reservation for the total amount. JT-Line will invoice the school according to the actual number of passengers after the visit. An invoice fee of EUR 10 per reservation will be added to the invoice. The invoice may include the journeys of several different groups from the same school on different days.
Cancellations: In the event of an obstacle, please cancel your reservation by email 3 days (72 hours) before you are due to travel (info@jt-line.fi).
Information on the waterbuses: There is a ramp for accessing the waterbuses (e.g. for wheelchairs and prams), but the waterbuses are not accessible. There is a toilet on the waterbuses, but it is not an accessible toilet. The departures for school groups are operated by waterbuses, which can hold 100–150 passengers. If you plan a trip to Vallisaari for the entire school and there will be a large number of passengers, JT-Line can look into replacing the waterbus operating the route with a waterbus with a higher capacity.
Coronavirus safety precautions on the waterbuses:
We comply with the official regulations in force when operating our routes. The maximum number of passengers travelling on the waterbuses shall be determined in accordance with the restrictions in force. In accordance with the current official regulations, we recommend that everyone over the age of 12 wears a facemask on our waterbuses. In August–September 2021,we will operate our waterbuses in accordance with the official regulations in force at that time.
