Britta Marakatt-Labba (b. 1951) is a Sámi artist known for her finely detailed embroidery.
For over four decades, her artistic practice has yoked methods of visual storytelling to the Sámi people and the Nordic landscape. Working primarily with wool, silk and linen thread on fabric, she creates narrative compositions that move between past and present.
