Haegue Yang (b. 1971, Seoul) lives and works in Berlin and Seoul.
Spanning media from collages to performative sculptures and room-scaled installations, her practice brings industrial fabrication and serial production into proximity with folk craftsmanship. Her multisensory works engage cultural, philosophical, and historical concerns, exploring themes of labour, migration, and displacement from the oblique vantage of the aesthetic.
