Marguerite Humeau (b. 1986) is a French, London-based multidisciplinary artist working with sculpture and immersive installations.
She creates dynamic, speculative worlds that resuscitate prehistoric pasts, summon parallel presents and envision imagined futures to explore the great mysteries of origins and ends. Rigorous research and collaboration are central to her practice; she works with specialists including zoologists, anthropologists, clairvoyants, foragers and geomancers, collapsing hierarchies between different ways of knowing.
